Investing in Burkina Faso starts in Amsterdam
One working day on which Dutch companies, funds and development banks sit down directly with the sector leads of the Government of Burkina Faso. Nine priority sectors, bilateral meetings and concrete commitments.
Not a policy day, but a working day. The BF_NL Investment Day puts Dutch investors and the Government of Burkina Faso at the same table, with a clear investment framework and the questions that really matter.
No intermediaries
The representatives of the nine priority sectors of the Burkinabè government attend in person. You talk to the people who decide.
Risks discussed openly
The security context, the legal framework and reliable local contacts are addressed explicitly, together with FMO and an experienced West Africa investor.
Commitments, not intentions
The goal of the day: ten firm commitments to deepen the investment dialogue, five of them formalised within thirty days.
Nine priority
sectors
Burkina Faso's National Development Plan 2026-2030 identifies nine sectors, each with a concrete 2030 target and a combined financing need of around 16.7 billion euros.
Water and sanitation
Solar and renewable energy
Financial services and fintech
Agro-industrial processing
Digital infrastructure and ICT
Logistics and transport
Healthcare and pharmaceuticals
Climate-smart agriculture and environment
